Please use this email when contacting us. However, as we have been receiving a large number of inquiries as of late, we cannot respond to all inquiries we receive. The following FAQ is provided to give you some guidance on the topics you may be inquiring about.
HIRING: We are not hiring at this time. If you are inquiring about working at the bookstore, please use the phrase "RESUME SUBMISSION" as the subject of your email. We will keep it on file and may reach out when we are considering additions to the staff. Otherwise, we do not respond to emails about hiring.
BOOK SIGNINGS/EVENTS: We are not doing book events at this time. If you are inquiring about an event at the store, please include the phrase "BOOK EVENT" in the subject of your email. In the body of the email, please include the following information about your book:

We will respond to your email if we are interested in exploring an event.
CARRYING YOUR BOOK: Please use the phrase "BOOK CONSIDERATION" in the subject of your email. In the body of the email, please include the following information about your book:
ISBN:
Is the book available through Ingram:
Relevance of book to local market:
Are you a local author (please be specific):
Price:
When we consider a title, we consider the book's price (is it competitively priced with other titles in the same categories), its availability (is it on Ingram and at the standard bookstore discount), and its relevance to our local audience (is it something our customers are interested in reading or in a category we readily sell in). If the book fits these criteria, we will order it through our standard distribution channels. There is no need to follow up with a query about us carrying the book.
SENDING SAMPLE COPIES: Yes, you may send us a sample copy of your book, along with whatever marketing material you have. We will consider it in light of the above criteria, and if we feel like it might be a fit, we will order it through our distribution channel. We will not be reaching out to the author to let them know that we are carrying the book.
These guidelines are the same guidelines we apply to books sent to us by traditional publishers, independent publishers, and sales reps. We are always delighted to be informed about titles we might have missed, because our customers like to discover new authors and titles. Due to the large volume of books that are being published every month, however, we simply do not have the time to respond directly to every query.
